About IUIS:

The International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS) is an umbrella organization for many of the regional and national societies of immunology throughout the world, whose vision is Immunology without Borders. Our mission is to promote immunology, unite the global immunological community, create a global network of expertise and research, empower members to make significant differences, identify and address inequalities, raise awareness of key issues in immunology and contribute to global health.

There are currently 87 Member Societies of IUIS, many of which belong to one of 4 Regional Federations encompassing Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia-Oceania or are direct members such as US and Canada. That represents more than 60,000 immunologists all over the world.

IUIS 2025

The International Union of Immunological Societies Congress is one of the world’s leading conferences in the field of immunology. Every three years the IUIS Congress assembles immunologists from industry, university, health providers and independent research organizations. Save the date for the next IUIS congress that will be on August 17- 22, 2025 in Vienna, Austria.

Don’t miss Vienna 2025!

The past edition of the IUIS International Congress of Immunology was held in Cape Town from 27th November to 2nd December 2023. It was a landmark occasion for South Africa and the Global immunology community. This was the first time the triennial meeting was held in Africa. The Scientific Program offered six days of sessions, networking events, symposia, workshops, posters and a great number of activities. A great success with memorable moments. See you all in Vienna 2025!
